Round Tracking
Most engineers forget 80% of what happened in an interview within 48 hours. Lytmus gives you a structured place to log every round immediately after it happens — the type, interviewers, outcome, and every question asked.
Every interview format that software engineers encounter — pre-categorized so your data is consistent and comparable across companies.
Select the type (DSA, system design, behavioral, etc.) and optionally add a custom title like 'Airbnb Distributed Systems Design'.
Log when the interview happened. Rounds are grouped by date on the application detail page, making it easy to see full onsite day schedules at a glance.
Record how long the round lasted. Duration data helps you prepare for similar rounds — you'll know exactly how much time you have.
Log interviewer names. Useful for thank-you notes, identifying bar raisers, and spotting patterns if the same interviewer appears across companies.
Set the outcome inline. Pending rounds show in your dashboard so you always know what's still live without digging through emails.
Every question asked during the round lives here — with prompt, approach, solution, and confidence score. The questions surface in your Metrics view.
Lytmus supports 12+ round types: Recruiter Screen, Hiring Manager Screen, Technical Phone, DSA/Coding, System Design (HLD), Low-Level Design (LLD), Behavioral, Take-home, Pair Programming, Bar Raiser, Domain Specific, and more. You can also add a custom title to any round.
Each round has an outcome field with four options: Passed, Failed, Pending, and Cancelled. Set it inline on the round card — no separate form required. Outcome feeds into your funnel analytics automatically.
Yes. Each round has an interviewers field where you can add one or more interviewer names. This helps you track patterns across interviewers and prepare follow-up notes.
Yes. You can upload files (resume versions, take-home briefs, reference sheets) and attach external links (Notion docs, LeetCode problems, recording URLs) directly to any round.
Questions are nested under the round where they were asked. Each question stores the prompt, your approach, your solution (code or prose), a confidence rating (1–5), and tags. These feed into your Metrics view to surface weak areas.
Yes. Rounds live within an application, and you can add as many rounds as needed. If you go through multiple interview loops at the same company (e.g. after a no-hire and a re-application), simply create a new application entry.
