Question Capture
The most valuable thing you can do after any interview is write down what was asked and how you answered. Lytmus gives you a structured question capture tool with confidence scoring — so the patterns across all your interviews become visible.
The exact question as asked. Rich text with full formatting — write it in your own words or copy it verbatim. Searchable across your entire question history.
How you thought through the problem: your initial instinct, edge cases you considered, time/space complexity analysis, or the STAR framework for behavioral questions.
A full code editor for technical solutions with syntax highlighting in Python, JavaScript, Java, Go, and more. Or use rich text for system design or behavioral answers.
Rate how well you answered — 1 (lost), 2 (struggled), 3 (passable), 4 (solid), 5 (nailed it). This single field powers all the pattern detection in Metrics.
Tag questions by topic: two-pointers, binary-search, distributed-systems, STAR, API-design. Tags are the lens through which the AI coach identifies your gaps.
Attach LeetCode problems, NeetCode walkthroughs, company engineering blogs, or any reference that's relevant to this specific question.
Lytmus aggregates your 1–5 ratings by tag. After 10 interviews, you don't need to guess what to study — the data tells you.
Each question stores: the prompt (what was asked), your approach (how you thought about it), your solution (code or prose, with full syntax highlighting), a confidence rating from 1 to 5, topic tags (DSA, system design, behavioral, etc.), and external links to LeetCode, NeetCode, or any reference material.
After each question, you rate your performance from 1 (completely lost) to 5 (nailed it). Lytmus aggregates these ratings by tag across all your interviews. If your system design average is 2.4 and your DSA average is 4.1, you know exactly where to spend the next week.
Yes. The solution field includes a full code editor (CodeMirror) with syntax highlighting for multiple languages. You can also write prose solutions for behavioral or design questions using the rich text editor.
Tags like 'two-pointers', 'distributed-systems', 'STAR-method', or 'dynamic-programming' let you group and filter questions. In the Metrics view, confidence scores are broken down by tag — showing you which topics need the most attention across all your interviews.
The AI coach reads your actual confidence scores and question history across all interviews. Instead of generic advice, it asks targeted follow-up questions on your weakest-rated topics. For example: if you rated 'consistent hashing' 2/5 three times across different companies, the coach drills you on that specifically. Available on the Pro tier.
Completely. Your questions, solutions, and notes are only visible to you (and optionally your career coach on the Pro tier). Lytmus never uses your data to train AI models or shares it with any third party.
Yes. Each question has a links field where you can attach any number of external URLs with labels — LeetCode problem, NeetCode solution video, editorial, company-specific resources, etc.
