Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using Lytmus (“Service”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) at lytmus.com. By creating an account or otherwise accessing the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User” or “you”) and Anuj Menta, the individual operating Lytmus (“Operator”). Your continued use of the Service after any modification to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify you of material changes by email or by displaying a notice within the Service.
2. Description of Service
Lytmus is a job-application tracking and interview preparation tool designed for software engineers. The Service allows you to:
- Track job applications across their full lifecycle (applied, interviewing, offer, rejected, etc.)
- Log interview rounds, including kind, date, interviewer, and outcome
- Capture interview questions with your approach, solution notes, and confidence ratings
- View analytics and metrics over your job search history
- Interact with your data via the Lytmus MCP (Model Context Protocol) server
The Service is provided on an ongoing basis subject to these Terms, and features may change over time as the product evolves.
3. User Accounts and Responsibilities
To use most features of Lytmus you must create an account using a valid email address or a supported OAuth provider (e.g. Google). You are responsible for:
- Keeping your account credentials secure and confidential
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Notifying us immediately at anujmenta@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access
- Providing accurate information when creating or updating your account
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement.
4. Subscription Plans and Billing
Lytmus offers three subscription tiers: Free, Plus, and Pro. The Free tier is available at no charge with limited features. Plus and Pro plans are billed on a monthly or annual basis through Razorpay, a PCI-compliant payment processor.
- Billing cycle: Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You authorize us to charge your payment method on file at the start of each renewal period.
- Price changes:We may change subscription prices with at least 14 days' notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new price.
- Taxes: Prices are inclusive of GST where required by Indian law. For international users, you are responsible for any applicable local taxes.
- Failed payments: If a payment fails, access to paid features may be downgraded to the Free tier until payment is resolved.

5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Service using automated means
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the Service
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
- Upload or transmit malicious code, malware, or any content designed to disrupt the Service
- Abuse the Service in a way that places unreasonable load on our infrastructure
- Circumvent or attempt to circumvent any authentication, access controls, or rate limits
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable law
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, at our sole discretion, without prior notice.
6. Intellectual Property
Your data: All content you create or import into Lytmus — including application records, interview notes, question prompts, and solution text — belongs to you. We do not claim ownership over your data. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display your data solely to provide the Service.
Our platform: The Lytmus name, logo, design, code, and all other aspects of the Service (excluding your data) are the intellectual property of the Operator. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of the platform or its underlying technology to you.
7. Data and Privacy
Your privacy matters to us. Our Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights with respect to it. By using the Service you acknowledge that you have read and understood the Privacy Policy.
8. Third-Party Services
Lytmus integrates with third-party services including Supabase (database and authentication), Razorpay (payments), PostHog (analytics), and Vercel (hosting). Your use of the Service is subject to the terms and privacy policies of those providers where applicable. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components.
Lytmus is an independent tool designed to help you organize your job search. We make no representation that use of the Service will result in employment or any particular outcome.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of business — arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.
11. Termination
You may close your account at any time from the Settings page. Upon account deletion, your data will be removed from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g. payment records).
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violations of these Terms, non-payment of fees, or for any other reason at our discretion, with or without notice. If we terminate your account without cause, we will provide a pro-rata refund for any unused portion of a paid subscription period.
12. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you by email or in-app notice. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
